Craigrownie, Church of Scotland, Cove

Churches Craigrownie 1Craigrownie Church was the daughter church of Rosneath, and has been used since 1853. The original architect was David Cousin,  and the church was enlarged following a design by Honeyman & Keppie in 1889. The organ was made by James J Binns of Leeds.  There are various examples of stained glass in the church including  by J Benson, S Adam, Mayer & Co. Frescoes by the sisters Doris and Anna Zinkeisen of the four Evangelists.

The nearby Church Hall is a former church designed by Hugh Barclay, 1858, with windows by F Hase-Hayden, A Webster, A McW Webster and others.
